Soft Cake with Candied Fruits
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Prepare the candied fruit: Mix the candied fruit and raisins with a little flour to prevent them from falling to the bottom of the cake during cooking.
Beat the eggs and sugar: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns white.
Incorporate the butter: Add the softened butter to the mixture, beating well to obtain a creamy texture.
Add the flour and baking powder: Sift the flour with the baking powder and add them to the mixture little by little.
Incorporate the fruit: Add the candied fruit and raisins to the dough, then mix gently.
