Orange Cake
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease the cake tin with butter and flour.
2. In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until frothy.
3. Add the oil, milk and grated orange zest. Mix well.
4. Gradually add the flour sifted with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
6. Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. While the cake is baking, prepare the orange cream: in a saucepan, mix the milk, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla. Add the orange juice and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens.
