Creamy Coconut Dessert Delight

1 teaspoon vanilla extract for coffee

1 tablespoon of sweetened or unsweetened cocoa nibs

1/4 teaspoon flaked coconut (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
Step 1: Make the custard base.

In a medium saucepan, combine whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, cornstarch and salt.

Making sure there are no lumps, cook the mixture over medium heat until it thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract once thickened.

Step 2: Add the cocoa powder.

Sift the chopped chocolate into the cream mixture until evenly distributed.

Pour the mixture, spread evenly, onto a glass baking dish.
