Place the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake according to package instructions (usually 15-20 minutes) until golden and crispy.
Once baked, let the pastry cool completely before assembling the mille-feuille.
2️⃣ Prepare the Cream Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
Whisk until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust the sweetness with more powdered sugar if needed.
3️⃣ Assemble the Mille-Feuille:
Once the puff pastry is cooled, carefully slice each strip horizontally in half to create 2 layers for each.
On the bottom layer of each strip, spread a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture.
Add a few mixed berries on top of the cream, and drizzle lightly with honey or maple syrup for added sweetness.
