Used to have this thanks to nan every year but never remembered to pen it down. Buzzing that I’ve found something that comes quite close!
Set the Salad: Pour the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups. Return it to the refrigerator and chill until firm, about 3-4 hours or overnight.
Serve: Once set, serve the peach melba fruit salad chilled. Add a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for an extra delightful touch.
Variations & Tips
– Feel free to swap in or add other fruits you enjoy, such as raspberries or strawberries, to play with different flavors and textures.
– To unmold with ease if using individual molds, briefly dip the bottom of the molds in warm water before inverting onto a serving plate.
– Get creative with garnishes—mint leaves, extra fresh berries, or a sprinkle of chopped nuts can add a delightful finish.
– Remember: if you or your guests have nut allergies, simply omit the almonds to ensure the salad is allergen-friendly.
