Raspberry syrup, thick and aromatic, preserves the whole berries, which give them their fresh taste and aroma. This jam always turns out excellent, almost like a jam.
We have always prepared raspberry jam this way, after trying many recipes, we settled on this one. Without too much modesty, this is the simplest and most reliable method. Many people may already know it, but I want to share a few tips that will help make the jam even better.
Ingredients:
Raspberries 3 kg (for example);
Sugar 3 kg (for a ratio of 1:1), the proportions can be adjusted to 1:2 and even 1:3;
Tip #1: Raspberries do not like washing
Raspberries absorb water very well, which is why they lose their shape and disintegrate when cooked. If the raspberries are dirty, it is better to refrain from using them for jam. And if the berries are fresh and come from your own bush, you can safely start making jam.
Tip #2: Raspberries prefer wide, low container
