- Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the lemon, keeping the peel intact to preserve essential oils. Peel and slice the ginger. If using fresh rosemary, rinse the sprig in cold water.
- Simmer the Ingredients: Bring the water to a boil in a medium-sized pot. Add the ginger slices and rosemary, then simmer for about ten minutes. After ten minutes, add the lemon slices and simmer for an additional five minutes.
- Steep and Strain: Remove the pot from heat and let the tea steep for a few more minutes to enhance the flavors. Strain the tea into a cup or teapot to remove the solids. If desired, sweeten with honey for added soothing benefits.
