1. Prepare the Apples
- Wash the apples thoroughly, peel them, and remove the seeds.
- Chop the apples into small cubes to ensure even cooking.
2. Cook the Apples
- In a large pot, combine the apple cubes, water, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture begins to boil.
3. Add the Spices
- Once the mixture boils, add cinnamon and nutmeg.

4. Mash the Apples
- When the apples are soft, remove the pot from the heat.
- Mash the apples with a fork or a hand blender until smooth.
5. Thicken the Jam
- Return the pot to low heat and cook for another 15–20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Continue until the jam reaches your desired consistency.
