Strawberry Lemonade Cake

1. Make the Lemon Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, vanilla extract, and lemon extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to the batter, mixing until smooth.
Pour batter evenly into cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
