-Preparation of citrus fruits:
- 1- Wash the oranges and lemons well under running water.
2- Peel the oranges and lemons, making sure to remove the white part that can be bitter.
-Cooking the citrus fruits:
1- Place the peeled oranges and lemons in a large pot with 3 liters of water.
2 – Bring to a boil and let cook for 15 minutes.
-Juice processing:
1- After cooking, blend the cooked oranges and lemons until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
2- Strain the mixture to remove any solid residue, obtaining only the juice.
-Juice Blending:
1- Pour the strained juice back into the pot.
2- Add the additional 2 liters of water and 200g of sugar.
3- Bring back to the boil, mixing well to dissolve the sugar.
-Juice Bottling:
1- While the juice is still hot, pour it into clean, dry glass bottles.
2- Close the bottles tightly with their lids, making sure they are sealed to prevent air from entering.
-Cooling and Storage:
1- Allow the bottles to cool for 20-24 hours.
2- Store the bottles in a cool, dark place, such as a cellar. The juice can be kept for up to 2 years if proper storage conditions are followed.
