Famous English chef Peter Sidwell shares a simple tip to extend the freshness of bananas.

Sidwell recommends storing bananas in a cool, dark place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, which accelerate the ripening process. Additionally, he advises removing any plastic wrap from around the bananas, as this can trap moisture and speed up spoilage. Once the bananas reach your desired ripeness, they can be stored in the refrigerator to prolong their freshness.
