Preparation:
Grease the baking sheet and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Set up a baking frame and refrigerate.
Light dough: Beat the margarine (or butter) with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour and baking powder, briefly stir the dough with the milk and spread one half on the baking sheet.
Dark dough: Mix the cocoa and extra milk into the second half of the dough and spread over the light dough. Garnish with drained sour cherries.
Bake at 160°C convection for about 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.
Beat the whipped cream with the cream stiffener until firm. Mix the quark with the sugar and vanilla sugar and stir in the cream. Spread the cream evenly over the cooled cake.
Mix the cake icing with the cherry juice, let it cool slightly and spread it carefully over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate the cake.
Decorate with a dab of cream and decorative chocolate before serving.
