Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea with Honey

Step 1: Boil the Water
Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium pot. Once it reaches a boil, remove the pot from the heat source.

Step 2: Steep the Tea and Ginger
Add the three green tea bags along with the sliced fresh ginger to the hot water. Cover the pot to keep the heat in and let the mixture steep for about 5-7 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor will be, so adjust according to your preference.

Step 3: Sweeten with Honey
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and ginger slices from the pot. While the tea is still warm, add in the honey, stirring well until it has completely dissolved. This ensures the honey blends seamlessly into your tea.

Step 4: Add Lemon Juice
Next, stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. The brightness of the lemon will enhance the flavor profile and add a refreshing acidity that balances the sweetness of the honey.

Step 5: Chill the Tea
Let the tea sit and cool to room temperature. Once it has cooled down, transfer the entire mixture to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour. This chilling period will allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
