Irresistible Valentine’s Day Cupcakes

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three parts, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
Add red food coloring:
Add a few drops of red food coloring and mix until you achieve your desired shade of pink or red.
Be sure to scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure the color is evenly mixed.
Fill the cupcake liners:
Spoon the cupcake batter evenly into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 of the way full.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cupcakes cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
