I’ll tell you right away what kind of rice you need for this dish! The most ideal option would be steamed or long-grain, round rice is still better to use for cooking porridge.
And, like any cereal, first of all, rinse the rice in water until it becomes clear. Immediately after rinsing, throw long-grain rice into a colander and let the water drain, and leave the steamed rice soaked in water for literally 3-5 minutes.

Now take a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil, and set it to heat up. Meanwhile, peel a couple of cloves of garlic (this amount of garlic is quite enough, you don’t need to scare off vampires) and cut them into slices. Literally 3-4 minutes and the rice will absorb the aromatic oil and begin to turn golden.

Now add salt and spices…

And pour in hot water. The water should just slightly cover the surface of the rice. Now cover the pan with a lid and continue to cook the side dish on low heat until done. And that’s it!
