Flavorful Potato and Onion Cake: A Comforting Delight

1. Preparing the Potatoes and Onions:

  • Peel and grate the potatoes using a grater with large holes.
  • Rinse the grated potatoes well in cold water to remove excess starch, then allow them to drain in a colander.
  • Cut the peeled onions into half rings.

2. Cooking the Vegetables:

  • Heat a frying pan with a little vegetable oil.
  • Sauté the sliced onions in the pan until they soften.
  • Optionally, add the bell pepper strips to the pan with the onions.
  • Season the vegetables with salt and continue frying until cooked through. Remove from heat once done.
