Decoration:
Candied (or fresh) orange slices
Speculoos pieces
Ground cinnamon (optional)
Preparation steps:
Prepare the biscuit base:
Grind the speculoos into a fine powder using a mixer.
Mix this powder with the melted butter until you obtain a sandy texture.
Line the bottom of a springform pan (diameter 20 cm) with this mixture, packing it down well with the back of a spoon.
Keep cool while you prepare the filling.
Prepare the cream cheese:
Preheat the oven to 150°C (fan-assisted).
In a large bowl, whisk the cream cheese with the cream, sugar and eggs until smooth.
Add the cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest. Mix well to flavor evenly.
