Broccoli Cheese Patties
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Broccoli
Steam or boil the broccoli until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well and let it cool slightly.
Chop the broccoli into small pieces, ensuring it’s finely minced but still has some texture.
Step 2: Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, and garlic (if using).
Stir until everything is well combined. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste.
If the mixture feels too wet, add a little more breadcrumbs until it holds together.
Step 3: Form the Patties
Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter. You should be able to make around 8-10 patties, depending on size.
Step 4: Cook the Patties
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Carefully add the patties to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
