For the Topping:
1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
Extra cherries for garnish
📖 Directions:
Make the Sponge: Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Gently fold in cocoa powder. Spread onto a lined baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes.
Roll & Cool: Roll the warm cake in a towel dusted with cocoa powder. Let cool completely.
Fill & Roll Again: Unroll, spread whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar, and layer with cherries. Roll tightly.
Decorate: Drizzle with melted chocolate and garnish with cherries.
