500 ml whole milk
100 g sugar
4 egg yolks
40 g cornstarch (cornflour)
1 vanilla pod or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the filling:
Assortment of fresh fruits of your choice (strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, raspberries, mango, etc.)
Tart glaze (optional to add shine)
